We’re happy to release Remcos v7.0.1, an update focused on reliability and stability which fixes various issues.
🆕 New Features
- Screen Capture: Added a quick-access button to launch the audio capture module directly from the screen capture interface.
- Camera Capture: The camera resolution and codec used are now displayed in the status bar for better visibility and diagnostics.
⚙️ Improvements
- Camera Capture: The capture engine has been completely rewritten from scratch for faster plugin load times, improved performance, and significantly reduced plugin size.
- Cookie Recovery: Now it is possible to recover cookies from all browsers without the need of administrator privileges (must use 64 bit agents).
🐞 Bug Fixes
- General Compatibility: Fixed connection issue affecting older agents when connecting to the new v7.0 infrastructure.
- Camera Capture: Fixed issue where cameras could not be loaded in v7.0.
- Audio Capture: Fixed crash occurring with 64-bit agents.
- Audio Capture: Fixed agent crash when switching audio settings very rapidly and frequently.
- Chat Module: Fixed crash affecting 64-bit agents.
- Telegram Bot: Fixed error when sending commands to a selected host after a reconnection.
- Process Injection: Fixed 64-bit agents not injecting when selecting “Inject into running process” option.
- Process Injection: Fixed “Inject into running process” not working in some cases.
- Watchdog: Improved watchdog, fixed failed launch which happened on some cases.
- Group Function: Fixed Light Agents not retaining group after reconnection.
- DNS Redirection: Fixed unable to edit redirection rules on Light Agents.
- Cookie Recovery: Performance and stability fixes on cookie recovery.
