Remcos v7.0.4, an update focused on stability and flexibility.
This version delivers a wide set of stability fixes to ensure smooth and stable operation, especially when using Remcos in RDP sessions. It also offers more detailed GeoLocation data, and various functionality improvements across the board. Additionally, we’ve improved retro-compatibility with legacy v6.x.x agents, making migration to Remcos v7 seamless for all users.
🆕 New Features
- GeoLocation: Added ISP, Organization, Autonomous System Organization, Connection Type (Cable/DSL, Corporate, etc.), and User Type (Residential, Hosting, etc.) for more detailed geolocation.
- Password Recovery: Added Elevate to Admin button for easier privilege escalation.
- UID: Added a dedicated UID column. The UID is an Unique Identifier for an agent. It makes it easier to identify and track specific agents in large networks or environments with many connections.
- GUI:
- Added InfoButtons in Agent Builder → Connection, providing clear tips and explanations about functions.
- Added a Connection Troubleshooting tips button in Agent Builder → Connection.

- Fixed GeoLocation error.
- Fixed access violation error when opening Remcos with Side Panel disabled.
- Improved RDP compatibility to ensure stable and smooth operation when operating Remcos behind RDP session.
- Fixed access violation errors after RDP login when Remcos Panel is already open.
- Fixed index out of range errors after RDP login when Remcos Panel is already open.
- Fixed Start/Stop Listening button not working correctly after RDP login in some cases.
- Fixed rare error “Cannot terminate an externally created thread” when closing Remcos Panel.
- File Manager: Fixed freeze when logging in RDP during file upload in progress.
- Other minor error fixes.
