🎁 Remcos v7.3.0 Update

Remcos v7.3.0 extends control even to powered-off computers, through the new Remote Power On functionality.
Through Wake-On-LAN and Wake-On-WAN protocol support, remote machines can now be powered on directly from Remcos, provided that Wake-On-LAN is properly configured on the remote machine and router.
Furthermore, the improved Control Center is now accessible for offline hosts, providing comprehensive information and insight into remote machines even while they are powered off.
This release also introduces a redesigned File Manager, faster Remcos Controller startup, a loading splash screen, interface refinements, reduced application size, and several stability and usability fixes.

🆕 New Features

• New Function : Remote Power On
  • Remcos now can wake up remote machine using Wake-On-LAN and Wake-On-WAN protocols.
    This function can be accessed from the Control Center of a disconnected host or from opening the Function Menu on a disconnected host.
    Important: Remote machines and router must have been configured to support Wake-On-LAN and Wake-On-WAN protocols for this function to work.
• Loading Screen:
  • A new Loading Splash Screen has been added when starting Remcos Controller, visualizing loading status.
  • Initial loading speed has also been improved.
• Control Center:
  • Offline Control Center: Now the Control Center is available even when the remote PC is offline, providing full info and insight on the remote machine even when the PC is turned off.
  • Network Interfaces & MAC Addresses: Now the Control Center also displays a list of Network Interfaces and MAC Addresses of remote machine.
• File Search:
  • Added function to export search results to file.

⚙️ Improvements

• File Manager:
  • Improved GUI and File Transfer interface; now it is possible to browse files, view and manage transfer simultaneously in a single tab, for a better user experience.
• General Optimizations:
  • Reduced file size of Remcos Controller by 3 MB.
  • Improved initial loading speed of Remcos Controller.
• Proxy:
  • Proxy country flag is now displayed in the Proxy Details listview.
  • To simplify interface, Proxy Tab in the main Remcos form is now hidden until adding a proxy.
• Interface:
  • Rearranged position of main tabs so that the most important ones are first for a more intuitive GUI.
• Functions Menu:
  • The functions menu has been improved when selecting remote offline computers, visualizing only the functions available on offline hosts (both categorized and extended menu style).
  • Solved issue of Functions Menu in extended mode which kept all functions enabled on offline agents.
• Password Recovery:
  • Improved formatting of exported txt files.

🧱 Stability & Error Fixes

• Control Panel Stability:
  • Fixed handle leak which could degrade performance over a long time of use.
• File Manager:
  • Fixed filepaths not being generated correctly in the destination system when downloading remote folder.
  • Fixed “Browse Local Downloads” not opening when using Recursive Download.
  • Fixed List Index out of bounds error on Copy/Paste.
• Control Center:
  • Fixed scrollbar issue on monitors with DPI scaling.
• GUI:
  • Fixed font glitch on bandwidth StatusBar after changing font from Local Settings -> Interface.
  • Removed unsuitable fonts which caused layout issues.
